In the summer of 2007 I travelled to New Orleans and assisted artist Takashi Horisaki as he cast an abandoned house in latex in the Lower Ninth Ward.
While driving from Treme to the site everyday I would pass two parallel streets. The first street was Piety and the second was Desire. I liked the idea of existing between the two.
